Backyard BBQ 2014

All the fun of a BBQ with none of the mess.  

Skillet Diner Ballard is making full use of its patio, Sunday, August 24. We will be grilling up a three course meal starring some massive Mesquite grilled Tomahawk Ribs with a Memphis style BBQ sauce. Each course has been appropriately paired with a great beer from North Coast Brewery


first course

house-made pretzel sticks, with rarebit sauce


second course

grilled prosciutto salad – arugula, capers, pickled shallots, 

frisee, grilled asparagus, fresh squeezed lemon & olive oil


third course

local grass fed tomahawk ribs – memphis style 

smothered ribs with potatoes rillettes


fourth course

grilled strawberry short cake – grilled local strawberries, 

stout & balsamic drizzle, grilled texas sheet cake
